Horrible Case
I only used this case for 5 months and the rubber is lifting up around the case. Not worth the high cost. I love Samsung products but they miss the quality mark with this case.

Rubber on sides peeled off after a few months
Was a decent case overall until the rubber around the edge started peeling after a few months. No warranty, and rather terrible build quality for a case at this price point sold directly from Samsung.

Do Not Buy - Coming apart / no warranty
This cover was fine for ~6 months. It's not bulky like some other "rugged" cases, but could use better gripping material on the sides. Warranty does not exist
One the phone case is breaking down. It's a good phone case and an investment since it's covered on warranty. Or so they say. The warranty is impossible to get. Awful.
Just like the other reviews here, my case is literally splitting apart in less than 6 months.
And a 12 month warranty that doesn't cover anything is also a joke
Really a shame, because this is probably my fifth galaxy phone, but I can't remotely justify buying another Samsung phone cover.

Rugged Case is falling apart
I bought this case along with the phone in March and it's starting to fall apart, just like how it's happening to the other reviewers. It's surprising to see something being marketed as "Rugged" and not even make it 6 months.

total junk, NOT Rugged.
this case sucks, I really wish I saw the reviews first, it's peeling apart after 2 months. after on the phone for 1 hr they would not process a refund. I wish I would've seen the reviews first.

It only last couple month
It only good for a couple of months, after that the rubber lines on both sides gets glued off , and you can't fix it even with gorilla glue, dont buy it , trust me

Phone case came apart, same location as other reviews, sides are just flapping around. Tried contacting customer support. Have to go through an ordeal to get stuff sorted. Apparently you have to ship out bad case, and then once they receive case, they will ship one to you, no established eta, so your phone will not be protected during that time period. Had potential, but fell short.
I got this with the phone on pre-order. It's not the worst case, but I'm having the same issue with the left bezel edge coming disbanded. Mine just started recently and it looks like maybe a combination of heat and the position of my thumb/palm are pushing that piece off. I hate leaving a poor review, but felt the Samsung team deserved honesty.

Looks good, protects but lasted a few months
Good looking case and does provide enough protection for the phone but a design issues meant I am experiencing the same as eveyone else. Around 3 months of use and the case edge has lifted and stretched or as others described it, delaminated or glue has separated.

Look elsewhere as this case is junk
Case is not of expected quality as others have noted. Its is just thin hard plastic case with only minor protection value. while the corners have minimalist bumper on them the rest of the case is just a plastic shell.
The outer surface is slick, the coloring appears sprayed over milky plastic, I doubt its appearance will hold up well over time.

Case is junk
The left front edge band detached in a few months of use. I think a modest amount of heat (from the phone itself charging or in use) stretches or makes the glue holing it ineffective. The case is junk.

Would NOT Recommend, Not Grippy, Very Slippery
Just receive package today without looking at the reviews till now. I agree, this is not a rugged case, it feels cheaply made and I dont think it will protect the phone at all.
