KVM Switch
Works very well. Easy to install (replacing older KVM switch). Slight click heard when switching between machines. Installation software not required for my computers; works out of the box with remote button. No audio hum on audio lines or any type of interference on the monitor. Hopefully it lasts for a long time.

Doesn't work with Windows 8.1
I had the exact same issue as the other reviewer. This switch works fine with my MacBook, but does not work properly with Windows 8.1

A little Glitchy
I have to unplug this switch when I'm not using my computer, because it insists on waking up my monitor every 60 seconds or so. It also causes my monitor to go completely black for a few seconds, on an unexpected basis. Not very welcome when gaming.

Good Product.
Works very well in Windows 10, Easy to install. The only limitation is that the cables are too short. 24" more on each end would be dandy.

Easy to use and setup Windows 7
I got this KVM switch to test and it is handy as most of my work is on site but sometimes I have to bring work home and I have to unplug my system to be able to work on the client computer.
I could not make it work properly on Windows 8 but it works ok on Windows 7 and 10.
The price is not bad and the Switch work well, just hope they can fix the problem with Windows 8....

Does what it's supposed to
I got this unit as I am finding myself fixing my friends and families computers and was tired of constantly unplugging my PC to plug theirs in. It worked well on the Windows 7 PC's I tested but confirmed 8.1 was a no go. I will be trying a Windows 10 PC in a couple of weeks. Seems well built and the instructions are clear. Did not see any reduction in picture quality....

Solid, well built product and easy to use
This is an easy to use and well built product. I tried this, switching from my Apple Mac mini and my Windows PC. The setup was very was easy and simple to use. There appears to be no quality loss for video which was very nice to see. The simple switch design is nice and easy to use. Overall the setup was simple and the way the product works is excellent.

works good but disappointed overall
My computers were 8 feet separated and after un-boxing realized I need to move the computers closer together for this to work due to cables are very short. Had wireless mouse hooked up to it while it worked the delay was so bad it was un-usable so I had to switch to a wired mouse. (I hate Wired Mice). Thanks for reviewing our SV211HDUA KVM switch. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced and would like to help.
While the device itself will work with any operating system, the additional software that accompanies the SV211HDUA has been tested up to Windows 8, but not Windows 8.1 unfortunately. There are also no plans to update the software.
We would suggest completely removing the software from your system to see if the issue persists. Please also try connecting the KVM to different USB ports.
