APCRBC114 12V UPS Replacement Battery
It is a very good replacement for the UPS ES 550 unit. Price seems to be very high, but not sure how other cheaper brand lasts or works with the unit. Overall I am satisfied with the unit.

Surge Outlet Question
Morning//
I Did install the Battery and it works fine..
My only question is,as I'm not sure,isn't there suppose to be power on the Surge Outlets? I have none. I have my home stereo equipment plugged into the unit..
I'd like to have them plugged into the Surge outlets,just in case. Thank You For Your Help and Timely Response.

Replacement Battery PN4001
It's always a bonus to receive genuine replacement parts. However, it would have been nice to have received a near fully charged battery or a notice that it needed to be charged. It initially appeared to be a useless battery when I installed it in my APC unit... dead. Glad it recharged.

Slick Battery Replacement of Cartridge #114.
Clean, quick, simple and efficient, the battery replacement and recycle process was as easy as possible. Given the performance of my first battery, I look forward to repeating this process five years in the future. And I'm looking forward to it!

High quality Replacement batteries
Bought replacement batteries for two UPS's, one that had recently started alarming for a bad battery, and one out of service. Both were easy to find on the site, and came partially charged and ready to install.

Replacement batteries for power supplies
Order came quickly, items worked perfectly- easy to replace, obviously the most cost effective and simple thing to do rather than replacing the ups or wondering if what another vendor has for a dollar less will work as well.
