worked great right out of the box to link Gemini 2 system, auto focus motor and a guide camera to my laptop for my telescope. Very happy with this product.

Mostly great
I also use this hub in my observatory, and I actually have two of them. One of my hubs frequently needs the power to be cycled on and off with the USB connection to my computer unplugged and then reconnected to work on many occasions. I am not sure what is causing this, and I wonder whether it possible to accomplish this remotely via code.

great quality, DIN mount bracket not included
I've been using these for years quite happily, they are far above and beyond the build quality of typical USB hubs, and running them from 24v DC is perfect for my offgrid house. I switch terabytes of USB drives on and off on demand using one of these hubs.
I recently bought a second one, and the DIN rail mounting bracket was not included. I don't know where to find a m...

Needs Accessory guidance
Want to use this product powered by the accessory terminal block. (never enough power from the connected PC....) From the tech specs it expects DC input (7-24V). What amperage would be nominal? I would buy this power adapter accessory from StarTech if it was listed.... Have to look elsewhere....

Response from Staples :
Thank you for your feedback,
The nominal amperage for our ST4200USBM will vary based on the voltage provided by your terminal block. While we don't sell terminal block power adapters, we do have a FAQ that provides the necessary information to calculate the required amperage: //www.startech.com/faq/usb_hubs_industrial_power_adapter#ST4200USBM

Working great in my observatory
I was using a similar product which died after a year or two. The StarTech is installed on my telescope and has every port occupied. The 12v power was important for my application. Here's hoping this hub keeps on doing the job for a long time.
