privacy filter
The privacy filter does work. My only problem is with the little tabs that hold the filter in place. I had to superglue them to the frame of the screen to keep them from popping off. I am using them on a stand alone monitor instead of a laptop, which could be the reason they do not stay in place.

Does not fit
This privacy filter says it fits a 24" monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio, but it is off by about a half inch, leaving a 1/2" vertical gap with a 3/4" horizontal overhang.
