IT CAN BE A HASSLE TO RELY ON BATTERIES ONLY. THE ADAPTER GIVES YOU THE CHOICE TO USE THE 'BROTHER' PT-D400 LABEL MACHINE, WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT WORN-OUT BATTERIES OR THE LACK THEREOF.
