Monitor adapter.
Initially the cord was hard to put into the back of the cpu, but I think that was my fault.

Adapter Cord for Old VGA Display Port :0)
It worked. Thank you for having this available as an add-on to my Dell XPS 8950 p.c. purchase, as I didn't have the patience to see whether or not my local big box store carried one in the technology dept.
