flawless performance so far. I have it plugged in to a docking station and it supports a mouse, keyboard, fan and an led light.

Does not work with MIDI devices
You can put a hard drive in fine. But apparently, it's picky about what devices it passes, even with the power supply.

Fantastic performance, reliability and quality
I bought this USB hub because my Dell XPS 15 9510 computer and connected Dell DA310 hub were limited on the number of USB A connectors. I have had many problems with non Dell hubs so I was wary.

Keeps dying on me
This hub was fine for weeks but now it keeps dying on me. Once a day the connection to it basically resets. Quite annoying.

StarTech 7 Port Hub 3.0
I followed my own advise and bought another for a second PC very happy! If you buy a new PC and need many external devises such as a Printer Hard drives Scanner etc. this is the only product that runs them all at once.

BEST 7 port powered USB Hub
I purchased a new Dell Vostro 5502 i7 16GB memory and all of my current 3.0 USB Hubs would not read on my new laptop???? Dell has this on there Web page so I new it would work I even saved $30.00 per Hub compared to Dell prices. I can hook up external Hard Drives and any media I wish and they all read at once! as they should very happy with my purchase. Fast shipping...

Very nice hub!
I bought this for my USB needs on my telescope. 6 devices need access all at once and one device needs to talk to and monitor other devices and this hub allows me to do that! Thanks StarTech!

Fixed my problems
I was having a problem with some of my equipment dropping out on my Telescope Imaging System. Particularly my CCD camera.
By installing this StarTech hub, 90% of the problem was solved.
It was recommended to me by a friend who also uses them for his set-up.
