Solved my Surface Book 4k external monitor connect
Using the passive display port/hdmi Microsoft adaptor, I could only get 1080 out of a 4k monitor hooked up as a secondary monitor for my Surface Book. Plugged in the active display port adaptor from Startech and problem solved.
Took my Surface Book and Startech adaptor to Best Buy and tried multiple 4k monitors to decide which to buy and everyone worked perfectly at...

Solved my Surface Book 4k external monitor connect
