Hard to grip.
When I squeeze to lift the mouse slightly I will accidentally trigger the back button. This wasn't an issue on the MX master 2s. The button portion is not grippy and even a small amount of perspiration results in accidental clicks.

Too small, don't want thumb button
No one makes a large heavy mouse. The last model is pretty good. This one is trending in the wrong direction.

Most Comfortable Mouse I've Used
The mouse is famous for a reason, all the features are amazing. My favorite thing about the mx4 is how comfortable it is over extended work sessions. The "click" is the best feeling. Best mouse for Mac
This is hands down the best mouse there is for macOS. The build quality is astounding, the grip feels great, the buttons are silent, everything about it feels great.

Downgrade From Master 3s
I returned it. It was way too easy to accidentally press the thumb pad.
The bulbous protrusion protecting the thumb wheel makes it harder to use.
The ergonomics have changed and my hand doesn't rest on it as naturally.
These two drawbacks are deal breakers. On the plus side, I do like the heavier weight.

New haptic feature makes the action rings usable.
The haptic feature is a nice new feature so you don't get lost in the action ring menus. You got to try this. I can't wait to expand this to smart actions.
