BAD
this cable does not work well. you have to unplug and re-plug the cable in for the computer to see the monitor. Dell support has no fix for that.

UNIDIRECTIONAL
And probably not the way you were thinking. Display port in from your pc, hdmi out to a monitor or tv. Fine cable if you need that

Something I didn't need until I did.
The laptops all have downsized USB plugs and HDMI plugs. But you go into some well equipped offices and I am expected to plug into group sized display screens./

Flickering monitor
4K dell monitor flicker with this cable. Replaced the cable with the cable that came with the monitor.

Tripp Lite 6ft DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Cable V
All seems to be well. I have only had the cable a couple of days or so. Give me a few weeks, and I can better evaluate it.

Best setup cables
Whit these cables they adapt a display port to a HDMI Monitor with out any high priced adapters,, I have not trouble with the monitor lag and looking funny.. Great cable!
This cable works perfectly! My computer has DisplayPorts instead of HDMI, but my monitor has HDMI, so this made it easy to connect the two so that I didn't have to order any additional hardware. Exactly what I was looking for!

Frustration, repetitive, attempting to make a simple purchase of a cable
Cable is a perfect fit, as no other cable could have fit, however, it took 100 minutes of my time to find someone at DELL, "a global company", meaning I was first connected to India, then the Philippines, then back to India, despite my requests to speak with someone in the US...at last, back in India, someone knew what I wished to purchase, and the deal was made.
