Needed to adapt to an "office" environment.
Recently moved from a computer room to an office environment and had to adapt. With mainframes is was easy - vent the heat and pump in all the cold air you could come up with.
Those days are gone and now we have to co-exist in spaces with people other than programmers. So how to keep the racks cool in an office kept warm? SmartRack 7000.

Great device with 1 flaw
This unit works great and keeps my server chilled. There is one tiny issue with it: when the power consumption gets to 1,500W (the 1080W nominal is a lie) the compressor then kicks off for about 6 mins then kicks back on. When the power draw gets back up to 1,500W the compressor kicks off again. When it does this it's usually a 10 mins on, 6 mins off cycle. It still doe...

There's room for improvement
i use it to cool down all my equipment in my server rack, so far it does a good job, it could improve if the owner was able to set some automatic rules for shutdown or startup if certain temperature is reach
