Solid Craftsmanship
As a mobile technician, I need to be able to print to my printer, charge my laptop or even charge my cordless drill battery. The 400 watts is just enough for me to get done what I need to and even extra things like lighting Christmas lights on a trailer!

400 tripp Lite Ultra
I was told the 400 watt output was available through the cigarette plug. No. Only through the hard wire to the battery. Very disappointed

Tripplite 400 watt inverter is a nice unit
Excellent unit. Quiet, cool, powerful. A little clumsy with the external wiring posts. Insertable wires would have been better, but this is a minor criticism. I had my Dell Precision laptop running for hours, and it never got hot. The laptop power brick got warm (expected.

BE READY FOR ANYTHING
Did not use it yet , but in case of emergency " BETTER TO HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT , THEN TO NEED IT AND NOT HAVE IT"

I would buy this product again and again
The product was easy to use and simple to set up. When it was set up it worked as described and provided all of the power my kids needed to run 2 computer at the same time in the back seat of my car for 20 hours. Can't recommend this product more!!!

Attention RV'ers!
we bought the pl400usb to keep our tablets charged while using google maps gps while traveling in the motorhome. we found it has multiple uses also. this unit will blow up the sleep number bed we use in our towed vehicle for an over nighter. we can leave the mh in our spot on the south rim of the GC, and visit the north rim overnight! Very Happy Campers.

Powerful but compact inverter
I am using this Tripplite inverter to power an end zone count down clock for a soccer field. The inverter is very compact, yet very powerful. It is very durable and although I do not have many hours of use with it, the inverter seems to work quite well.
