Totally disgusted by the design and function

I have been dealing with this device for over a year. I am disgusted by its design and functionality. The articulating plastic shield is very inefficient and causes excess use and malfunction of the tape . I would absolutely discourage the purchase of this particular design

Pop Up Tape Refills
Why have the Pop Up Tape Refills been discontinued????? They made wrapping presents so much easier! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!!!!!!!!

too thin
I bought Scotch Magic Tape 3/4 inch some months ago. It is so thin that it comes off in stripes and does not stay in one peace. This is useless. I am very disappointed. This is the first time I am dissatisfied after using your products for 30+ years.

THIS TAPE HAS DECLINED IN QUALITY - IT'S HORRIBLE
Scotch tape used to be the best. Just like most products today, they've obviously changed the formula to save money. I tried wrapping presents and the tape was constantly wrapping around my finger before i could get it onto the paper. And forget about it sticking to any type of fancy wrapping. I will never buy Scotch tape again.

Poor quality
Just bought a 6 pack of refillable tape, I use your tape for everything in my house. Tonight trying to finish up decorations for Easter my tape kept ripping over and over. Not impressed I was seriously debating on buying the cheaper brand but chose your brand, now im thinking I might go buy the cheaper brand.

Truly Magical
My granddaughter LOVES tape. In late August of this year she created a "bug catcher" with tape and a cupcake wrapper. She asked me (the wobbly grandmother with no depth perception) to climb a ladder and hang her project. We expected the thing to be down within hours, but NO. To our astonishment the "bug catcher" is still swaying in the wind despite some nasty storms...

Frequent breakage
My last order of Scotch Magic Tape is not performing as usual. It frequently breaks or splits and I have to search for the end to start the roll again. Has something changed in the manufacture of this tape?

leaves no gummy residue
Because this tape is so clean I use it in my sewing room. Embroidery thread stays put on the spool when not in use and when I take off the tape thread comes off clean. its great for fabric too no sticky mess.

My go-to tape for years
3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. But, I have been purchasing it for years. Off-brands of tape are just that--off. This is reliable and clean. It always works. It is definitely worth it!

Tape Test!

Love the quality!
I received the product free from 3M.
I have purchased some store brand tape and was very disappointed. Again and again, Scotch brand Magic tape prevails. I purchased several tape dispensers last year and they are filled with this Magic tape.
I will never buy another brand of tape!

Best Tape EVER!
