A Lot of Poor Quality Discs in Batch
Not sure if the problem is just this particular batch that I purchased but a lot of the discs are either scratched and unrecordable. Some of the ones that I recorded TV shows would play erratically freeze or won't play at all. This batch had poor quality discs packaged in it. Very unhappy with this purchase especially for the price I paid. Most likely will switch bra...

Great Product
We needed the 240-minute DVD and this was the only one we could find. Haven't used them as yet but we have them. Thanks STAPLES!!!

Works great!
These DVD'S work great and I couldn't find any at other stores. Staples had them and on sale! I have always used Memorex 8.5 GB DVD's they never let me down.

Meets expectations with flying colors
I expect to not encounter any write errors and this has shown to be true with this and previous Memorex DVD DL purchased. Memorex has consistently provided a quality set of products - both for the consumer and business user - including disketted laser disks and disk packs for main frames. I am looking forward to having larger quantity (e.g. 100 DVD DL packaging.)

I am a video producer and great DVDs are a must. I have tried lots of brands from different companies and staple I have found to be the best place to buy all my electronic products . Weak Archboard
We use this product a lot and are always disappointed but since very few companies produce this type we have no choice but to buy this product. the metal arches do not always match up and after awhile they do not even close together properly.

Great products
I have only had three disc out if 50 be bad. For as many as my family buys to share this is great. This is the only dual layer disc that my family purchases. I do wish that I could find a bigger spindle. Sometimes it is hard to find them in the stores because they have run out. I do wish the price would be cheaper. You are getting two disc in one but still. In some ways...

Memorex is normally a good product
We needed to get some Double Layer DVD read/write. The only one we could find at Stables in the downtown of Cincinnati was this one (Memorexâ„¢ 25/Pack 8.5GB Double Layer DVD+R Spindle by Memorex) Was hoping to find a larger quanity of than the 25. My choice for Dual Layer Writables
The Memorex dual-layer DVD discs are the best quality for the money. I know I can rely on Memorex for quality products.

Lucky if half will burn without failing
6 fails before I was halfway through the stack. Seal the hole in the middle and glue a circle of felt on the bottom and they should make dandy coasters. That's about all these are good for. Don't buy these unless you like being frustrated and starting your project over and over again.

Out of a 25 pack maybe 10 - 15 will burn and the rest are wasted. Not impressed.
