If you're looking to upgrade the audio in your home theater or office with a new subwoofer, then you've come to the right place.
Bring the feeling of the movie theater home with you
If you like to really feel the action of big movies or concerts, then getting a subwoofer is a must. If you've ever watched a movie in a theater with a powerful sound system, you know the difference that a subwoofer can make. The augmented bass is noticeable, but not overpowering, so you still get the full effect of the audio. If you already have speakers, then you also need to make sure that the subwoofer is compatible with them. Make sure that you get a subwoofer that has an RCA or 1/8" connection to match your speakers. Bass that'll blow you away
You have a smaller space, then a smaller subwoofer might be better suited. On the other hand, if you have a larger room, then you might want to look at a more powerful option. You'll also want to think about how much space you have for storage - some subwoofers are small enough to fit on a bookshelf or in a closet, while others might require a place in the basement or garage.
Powered or Unpowered
The first thing to consider is whether you want to get a powered or unpowered subwoofer. A powered subwoofer is going to require an external power source, while an unpowered subwoofer is self-contained. If you have a lot of audio equipment already, then getting a powered subwoofer might be the way to go. However, if you're just getting started with new audio equipment, getting an unpowered subwoofer is a better option.
