The Tripp Lite U357-025-UASP black external 2 1/2" SATA hard drive enclosure features 6 Gbps Serial ATA/600 for faster data reading and writing capability. It is suitable for your laptop, netbook or notebook computers. This hard drive has SuperSpeed USB 3.0 type A male connector on first end and 22-pin SATA + power female connector on second end for reliable connectivity. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interfaces. It transfers data at the rate of 5 Gbps through USB 3.0 interface. The protective cover keeps SATA drive free of dust. It incorporates blue LED that indicates successful data transfer. This hard drive requires no software, drivers or external power supply.
