Wide-ruled composition notebooks are essential tools in developing early writing skills for a variety of reasons:
- Develops fine motor skills. More surface area to write means extra room to practice handwriting and cursive.
- Allows children to refine their writing structure. By trial and error in a larger writing space, the young learner will be able to fine-tune their handwriting before moving on to a smaller format.
