The Brother HL-5470dw laser printer provides small- to medium-sized businesses with everything they need to meet their black-and-white printing needs. The laser printer prints up to 40 ppm and has a monthly duty cycle of up to 50,000 pages so it can print out jobs quickly and handle daily use. The printer has a 250-sheet input capacity and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray so it does not need constant refilling. You can print paper up to 8.5 x 14 in and with a high-quality resolution up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi for those important jobs where quality of presentation matters.

Large Paper Capacity

The Brother HL-5470dw has a 300-sheet paper input capacity, which includes space for 250 regular sheets and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. The printer is capable of printing 50,000 pages per month. If you print a lot of larger jobs, consider the Brother HL-5470dwt laser printer, which has many of the same features but comes with two paper trays and an 800-sheet paper input capacity.

Speed and High Resolution

The Brother HL-5470dw prints as many as 40 pages per minute, so you do not have to wait long for your documents. It also has automatic duplexing that allows for quick two-sided printing. You can set the resolution up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi for clear images and text.

Wireless Capability and Memory

The printer is network ready with a built-in wireless 802.11b/g/n and Ethernet interfaces, as well as high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity compatibility. The printer includes 128 MB of RAM, but you can expand it up to 384 MB. Use a mobile device for convenient printing through various applications including AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Wi-Fi Direct, Brother iPrint&Scan, and Cortado Workplace.

Unbelievablely fast and economical

I needed a fast Lazer printer in black ink for business. 40 Pages per Minute. Two sided without reloading paper. Auto Duplexing. WiFi capable. 250 page tray upgradable to 500 page tray. I was sold but here is the bonus. 3000 or 8000 pages per cartrage depending on which one you buy. All for less than $300.00.....SOLD. Does it all.

This is the second HL-5470DW printer we have in the office and they have worked well for us. We have had good luck with Brother printer and all in one machines. At this time, I will buy another when another older Brother machine needs to be upgraded.

I really like the fact that I can do bigger print jobs and not need to buy more ink after a few pages. I had so many issues with my inkjet and needed a new printer immediately. This printer really was a great buy for me. It prints multiple pages quickly and I don't have to buy ink so frequently. I love it. I wish I could afford a printer similar to it that uses color also. I am thankful that I was able to afford this one and a box of paper. I have enjoyed being able to print everything I have needed with this printer.

Uses toner much faster than what the store employees stated.
Also, it says it prints "booklet style," but it doesn't do that on my Windows 8 computer.
