It works well until the end. I don't replace the cartridges until my printer stops printing and the color is solid until the last document. No skipping or smearing at all. For the price I would like it to last longer but I do use it A LOT everyday and I may be unrealistic in my request.

      Is this the correct toner cartridge for a Brother MFC8480DN and what is the advantage of the 2 pack?

        The correct toner cartridge for the MFC8480DN is the TN-650, Staples.com item # 782192. The TN-360 will not fit in your printer. The advantage of a 2 pack would be simply personal preference depending on how often one needs to change the cartridges or if an office has two printers that use the same cartridge, allowing for a savings when purchasing a two pack.
