Q: Does it matter what position printer is in to carry it for travel? And can I use a USB stick to print with? Asked on 3/28/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: It is best to buy a padded computer style bag for the printer and supplies and keep the printer in the upright position. This will reduce the risk of the ink cartridges leaking. You cannot use a USB stick to print with. You can use a printer USB cable to directly connect the printer to the computer, or you can use the BU-30 Bluetooth adapter that is sold separately. The BU-30 adapter will allow you to print wirelessly from a PC. Operating distance is approximately 10 meters but may vary due to obstacles, radio signals, locations where radio interference occurs, magnetic fields from microwave ovens, device sensitivity and/or antenna performance. Answered on 3/30/2012 by Cara B from Staples A: You should try to keep the printer in it's normal position if traveling, but turning it on it's side will not effect the printer. Just be careful and not too rough with it. No, you can not print directly off of a USB stick with this printer. Answered on 3/30/2012 by Community Answer from None
