I really like this heavy duty stapler. I have the 3/8" staples and often when stapling 2 or 3 pages together the staples flip around and poke straight out because they are too long. I'm going to buy the 1/4" and hope these aren't as long. For lots of papers, this stapler and staples goes right through them. I think I've stapled up to 50 sheets with no problems.

We have been using the 3/8" staple in our Bostich B8E stapler but have found that they are too long for our everyday stapling needs. Most of the packages we staple are 10-15 pages, and this particular staple tends to leave a sharp piece sticking out of the paper.
We are switching to the 1/4" staple as it will better suit our needs.
The quality is great. I wanted to add this review for those who are planning to use this primarily for smaller packets of paper.

I had a Rexel Trojan hand plier stapler which I could not get staples for due to the fact that the unit was made in UK. I had to buy new Bostitch stapler and found that you had Heavy duty staples for this unit.

I work in the Architectural/Engineering field and this staple and the gun that it is used in have proven too be indispensable. Its heavy duty able to plow through 45 large format drawings (this is very thick paper stock used for Contract Drawings). We can't get professional looking sets out the door without it. If you are ok with having to buy non-standard staples then this products reliability is solely dependent upon your use.

I bought the stapler for its durability (all steel frame), but I neglected to notice it takes smaller staples. Unfortunately, in this case, bigger would have been better.
