        I bought these speakers to use with the computer I keep in our guest room hoping that my 3 and 5-year-old would use it to watch their shows somewhere other than in my room. The highs are bright, the mids are clear, and the bass is rumbly and deep. The only problem with the speakers is that my wife hates me for buying them because they work too well. Life's rough:)

            If you enjoy PC music or movies, this is a good set to own. Purchased these in Nov 2011 for [$] and there's not much else in the sub-200 range that comes close. I have some basic logitech z-130s paired up in the rear and with a simple $50 sound card the system rocks the room. In action movies the rachetty boom of the machine guns reverberate in your chest while the the chingle sound of the shell casings hitting the ground sounds like it's happening next to you. The speakers really draw you into the action!

                  Love everything about it except when the SRS WOW Effects are turned on in Windows Media Player during "MUSIC" (not movies), and when playing the music low, you feel the music going a little up and down as if someone is playing with the volume. I guess the SRS WOW effect is meant for movies and maybe it recognizes the vocals in a song as someone "speaking" in a movie which is why this variation. Not sure.
