Q: it says it works with any network enabled device. I have 3 different computers, a few tablets, a printer a play station, and a few smart phones all on my network. Will I be able to access and display images or videos from any one of the separate computers on the wireless network? For example home movies stored on a Apple - wirelessly displayed on my Sony Bravia . Instead of using an adapter and a HDMI cable running to the TV? Or display from my tablet - that runs Android ? There is a exsiting question and answer that would suggest that this divice should be thought of as a wireless connection for only one device- and that it does not work across platforms and operating systems. And most importantly it will not "connect " all the devices on your network to display or function on your TV. Asked on 4/13/2013 by helena from vermont Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The Ethernet wireless protocol (IP addressing) in platform neutral so the Netgear WNCE2001 Ethernet to Wireless Adapter will work with any network enabled device. However the device must also support the media you are trying to display. Your Sony TV doesn't support media saved on Apple because of HFS hard format, if you used a NTFS partition on your Apple for your movies the Sony would support them. The role of the Netgear Adapter is the transport the signals between the devices, but the devices must still be compatible with each other. Answered on 4/14/2013 by Community Answer from None
Q: can we connect the port coming out of this device to the switch and connect multiple ethernet devices to it to get internet access to all devices? does it have inbuilt dhcp? or it just act like bridge between switch and the router which has dhcp enabled.??? Asked on 3/8/2013 by RAM from YONKERS, NY Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The adapter provides a wireless connection between your existing wireless router and whatever it is connected to, i.e., TV or Blu Ray player. It does not have dhcp, it does not connect multiple devices, and it does not provide internet access except as provided by your wireless router. It simply substitutes a wired ethernet connection for a wireless one for one device. Answered on 3/9/2013 by Community Answer from None

Answer this question 1 answer A: This should work with any device that has an ethernet (LAN) port. If your printer is wireless you should be able to set up your computers to print to it automatically. As long as the computers you are printing off of is connected to the network. I would suggest calling the manufacturer of the printer to get assistance with connecting your wireless printer to your network. Answered on 10/11/2011 by Kayla T. from Staples
