Very stylish desk!

I am disabled, yet I put this desk together very quickly. Instructions were easy to follow and the desk was very sturdy when completed.

difficult to assemble

My biggest complain about this desk is the destructions. They do not give the information required to keep from having to reverse steps to redo parts of assembly that were required to assemble the desk properly. If you are going to buy this desk, these are some things you should look out for.

In Step 2, make sure the holes for the cam studs on the long edge of 6L& 6R are pointing towards the top of the desk; if you do not, you will have to change it when you try to install the desk top.

Step 4, ensure that the screw holes on the edges of 11L & 11R are facing the rear; if you do not, you will not be able to install the back panels (13) on the Accent Frames because the screw holes will be facing the front rather than the rear.

Step 5, ensure that you install the backs of the Accent Frames flush with the rear edge of the desktop; the screw holes that appear to be marked on 11L & 11R for this purpose result in the Accent Frames being installed an inch or more from the edge of the desktop, and this makes it so that you cannot install the Accent Frame rear panels (13).

It's best to not move it around much once you have it assembled due to the fact that the cam screws loosen up easily with minimal vibration.

Finally, when you start your computer with the USB connection to the USB ports on the desk, the New Hardware Wizard will prompt you to install drivers for the new USB ports. To install the drivers, choose to select a location to install them from and navigate to C:\Windows to the Windows.inf file to install the required drivers.

It's a nice looking desk that has a lot of space for storage, but it would be nice if the manufacturer had spent more time on making the destructions more accurate and clearer so that customers don't have to reverse steps to get it right the first time.

This was a great buy for the money, since it was on sale. I don't think the construction and materials would allow you to use it in a business office because obviously there are higher-end products for that, but for home and personal use it's more than adequate.
