The clock is a quality piece. However, the software that comes with it is really outdated and limiting. It will remind you of software that you haven't used in 10 years. The manufacturer claims that there is an upgrade forthcoming. It is desperately needed.

I have had this system for two weeks now and I am very pleased with the functions. I was using a completely web based time clock program and everytime I did payroll I ended up with a massive headache! And it would not always take my employee's punch in or out. Now this system flags missed punches and automatic clock employees out if they do not clock out after 13 hours. This system was very easy to set up, even though the instructions given were not all that informative. All I had to do was set it up on a computer that was on the network and then download the program onto my computer. Bottom line is it has saved me a ton of time!

We had a very old outdated clock prior to this one. The old one was not user friendly at all. This one has been easy to use and VERY user friendly. We have 20 employees and have the clock in the mfg area. So far, we have not had any complaints or problems. I would definitley purchase this product again and recommend it to any small business or office. I think for the price of this product you won't find anything better or more functional.

The time clock is network capable but the database is only accessable by one user. The database is forced to install locally.

Does this time clock automatically calculate the time for each day. For instance, if I work 8-5 will it say I worked 9 hours, or 8 hours and we can enter a calculation for a lunch time?
