    I personally provide thick-lead mechanical pencils to my special needs students. The pencils have good support for grasping and the lead is strong enough for unusual writing pressure most of the time. It also eliminates trips to the noisy pencil sharpener that distracts the class. (I prefer the .9 lead mechanical pencils, but are hard to find.)

                Do these lead refills fit any mechanical pencil that holds a .7mm lead? I have several PaperMate Mega Lead pencils, but unfortunately they don't come with lead refills. Thanks in advance!
