Good product. Just what I need!

My main beef is that sometimes these postcards are difficult to separate easily. You have to be careful, bending them back and forth a couple of times before tearing. As far as printing is concerned, I find it is best to follow the hints and tips given in the package (i.e. only feed one sheet at a time into your printer, and do not print the second side before the first side has dried). This helps to greatly reduce jamming. If you are in a high-volume business, this may not be the best product for you, since you do have to feed the sheets one by one, but for the at-home business that requires quality, I would definitely recommend these postcards. I'm a musician and send out a lot of leads to brides. The bright white and matte feel gives my printed postcards a professional look.

IMPROVE your product.

FIRST PROBLEM: I had the same problem as another reviewer, i.e., many lost cards due to printer continually jamming. Changed printer; fewer lost cards but lost a lot of cards in total! SECOND PROBLEM: Product box states "easy-tear perforations for smooth edges." The edges were not "crips" but ragged. Had to "shave" most cards. The U.S. mail processing machines added to that problem. CONCLUSION: I printed postcards before and have not encountered this problem so it must be the product. I did not have the luxury of getting other cards due to time constraints of the mailing deadline.[...]

I was attempting to print postcards for a local church to invite our neighbors to a harvest party. But using the Staples brand instead of the Avery was nothing but headaches, first jamming and ruining my old HP Deskjet printer, and then having problems feeding an Epson ink-jet printer I had purchased. I think it would be easier to just toss the box out and go back to the Avery post cards.

I would recommend the products use for low volume only because of the jamming problems. It would be less of a problem with a "top feed" printer, which I do not have. I have to keep opening/closing the tray and inserting one at a time, or risk jams.

These postcards are easy to use and look great. I had trouble with my printer jamming when printing double sided. No problems, however, when I printed a single side then ran them through the printer for the other side. The perforation is easy to tear and comes apart clean.
