Q: Where can I find a template for this product, so I know where to place art & text? All the other companies who make this stuff have templates you can download. I have three packages of this product, but they are useless without a template. Asked on 11/19/2009 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: I downloaded the Avery Wizard, into my MS Word program. I 1st did this for Avery business cards, but there is a choice for CD Inserts. It works perfectly, as if it was made for this product. Btw, the inserts work great for me. Answered on 12/17/2012 by Weary Cowboy from Mesa, Arizona A: Sorry to say it, but there are none. I searched myself and ended up creating one from scratch by using a graphics software I have on my computer. Answered on 1/5/2010 by MsJoy from Struthers, Ohio A: The templates are actually fairly standard. I used the same Memorex template for the Staples version, which was part of free software I downloaded from the Memorex web site when I tried their version. The only difference may be that the Staples version loads "upside down," but you can verify it fairly quickly with a test page. Also (although I can't be sure for every product type) it makes sense that the non-Avery manufacturers will use Avery-compatible layouts to make it easier for people to substitute their products. That has been my experience with standard disk labels. Finally, Staples sells recent versions of Broderbund's publishing software (Print Shop) at a big discount compared to the latest versions, and they all handle basic label layouts like these.
