Love this SOFT leaded pencil!!

The great thing about this pencil is that it has a "SOFT" lead and doesn't snap off like many of the other mechanical pencils.

Good Pencil, but bad eraser

I use these pencils at work. They write well and are comfortable, but the eraser in the back does not erase it just makes the paper dark and dirty.

I bought these because of the price. This is a perfect example of, "you get what you pay for" – the pencil writes fine but the entire reason I use pencils is so I can erase things too. The eraser is terrible. Every time I use the eraser it smudges the pencil marks and turns the area dark and cloudy. If I try writing over the erased area then it's hardly legible. I will NOT buy these again.

Lead breaks easily and falls out. Name brands cost more but do the job much better. This isn't worth the savings.

I love these pencils and the variety of barrel colors. They are comfortable to use. But I've since found out that Staples does not offer eraser refillis, which is disappointing. So I must keep a separate eraser nearby or dispose of pencil when eraser is gone.

  I apologize that the eraser is not refillable. I located an item number 760549 Pentel® Twist-Erase® Express Automatic Pencils, .7mm, 3/Pack that does offer refillable erasers. The item number for the eraser refill is 399592 Pentel Automatic Pencil Eraser Refills for Twist-Erase III.
