Find Your Paper
Before you choose a 12" x 12" printer paper, determine the weight that your project requires. How to figure the weight? A general rule of thumb to follow is that the heavier the paper, the thicker the paper. As a point of comparison, standard copy paper generally is 20 lbs. The 12" x 12" printer paper is heavier, ranging from 24 to 90 lbs. The lower weights (24 - 30 lbs.) are fine choices for brochures, menu special inserts, and direct mail flyers.
