How Does a Comb Binding Machine Work?

Yes! A comb binder machine can add pages to bound volumes, which is one of the advantages of the comb binding method. Binding spines are flexible both in their construction and the amount of pages they can hold. The individual teeth can be separated after they are closed, so you can add or remove pages as you see fit. Before adding more pages, make sure the plastic spine used is wide enough to accommodate the thicker stack. The thinnest plastic comb spine is 0.188 inches wide and has a maximum capacity of 16 pages. Meanwhile, the widest spine measures 2 inches and can bind up to 500 sheets.
