A positive first impression is a key tool for success in business. A GBC binding machine lets you replace that staple-in-the-corner presentation packet with a neatly bound, professional-looking booklet. It can also help you organize your office documents, like training manuals and user guides, into readily accessible and well-ordered collections.

A GBC Binding Machine Is Easy to Use
GBC binding machines are available in both manual and electric models. Manual models have an ergonomic handle design for smooth punching, while some electric models include a foot pedal to operate the punch. Other electric models use a push button to activate the punch mechanism. The machines have front and side guides or, on some, auto-centering features to make alignment simple and accurate, while others have document separators that allow easy division of the sheets into groups. The machines also have attached hooks that hold the spine in place, making it much easier to hang the pages onto the spine as they go through the punching process. Spines simply click closed when all the pages are in place.

A GBC Binding Machine Offers Flexibility
Most GBC binding machines can handle a variety of paper weights. The punch capacity ranges allow punching 15 to 20 sheets of 20-pound paper at a time. Binding capacity runs from 160 pages to 450 sheets. Available ProClick binding spines in 1/2-inch, 5/16-inch, and 5/8-inch diameters work with the machines to allow for flexibility in the proper thickness of your reports, presentations, or books.

Standard machines handle documents and covers up to 12 inches in length, while you can use others for materials up to 18 inches long. Some models have a dial-in side-margin setting for binding books and other collections requiring an off-set edge.

A sliding document tray and front and side guides help assure properly aligned punches, so materials fit together smoothly to create a professional appearance. A zipper tool that also allows for adding or removing pages as you update or make revisions in the documents comes with the binding machines. That makes it easy to customize proposals and presentations to customers' specific needs with minimal fuss.

Does a GBC Binding Machine Work With Other Types of Binding Spines?
While the machines' designers had ProClick spines in mind, other 3:1 pitch spiral coils spines work as well. You will need a crimping tool for those. You can also use 3:1 pitch double wrap spines, which will require a wire closer.

Will a GBC Binding Machine Operate With 110/220 Volt, 50/60 Hertz power sources?
GBC binding machines work ideally at 115 volts, but they are compatible with 110-volt, 60-Hertz power sources. They cannot operate on 220-volt, 50-Hertz sources.

Does the GBC Binding Machine Come With a Warranty?
Most of these models come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty; some come with a 2-year limited warranty.

As the saying goes, you get only one chance to make a first impression. Use your GBC binding machine to elevate your presentation documents to sleek, professional packets that make a splash.
