What Is a Self-Seal Envelope?

Self-seal envelopes, also called peel-and-seal or strip-sealed envelopes, are different from traditional envelopes because they don’t need to be moistened in order to seal, meaning you won’t have to lick the envelope or use other tools (like an envelope moistener) to seal it. Self-seal envelopes have a strip of latex glue on the inner tab that is covered by a strip of paper or plastic.
