Copy Paper
Paper for every project and every printer.
Stock up on copy and multipurpose paper. All paper is not created equal – which is why we stock a wide selection of copy and multipurpose paper to satisfy every print and copy job.
What’s the deal with paper weight?
You’ll notice every box of copy paper has a weight attached. That’s the weight of 500 sheets of paper at a certain size. Generally, the higher the paper weight, the thicker the paper. For every day, inter-office documents, plain old 20 lb. paper works just fine, while 28 lb. or 32 lb. stock is better for high-profile print jobs.
What’s paper brightness?
Along with paper-weight, you’ll often see a brightness rating which refers to the amount of reflectance of a specific wave of blue light. Brightness is measured on a scale from 0 to 100, with 100 being the brightest possible paper. Brighter paper will render more vibrant and clearer colors which give your multicolored PowerPoints and graphics a clean and crisp finish.
What’s inkjet vs. laser vs. copy paper vs. multipurpose paper?
Inkjet paper has a tighter weave that keeps the ink from bleeding through the paper, producing a crisper image. Laser paper is specially treated to stand up to the high heat of laser printing. Comparably, multipurpose paper and copy paper are similar but are thinner and less expensive options for everyday use at the office.
What’s recycled vs. non-recycled paper?
Non-recycled paper is made from new materials, while recycled paper is made from paper scrap. The quality of recycled paper is just as high as new paper. And while the cost of recycled paper may be a bit more for your business, the cost to the environment is far less.
