External tape drive is capable of storing up to 30TB per cartridge, providing support for LTFS and AES 256-bit hardware data encryption security to protect the most sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access of tape cartridges.
The HP® LTO-8 Ultrium 30750 SAS external tape drive in black, comes with 26-pin mini SAS connector. This tape drive connects with 6 Gbps SAS interface. The drive with LTO 8 technology, has 12TB (native) and 30TB (compressed) capacity with 300 Mbps data transfer rate. It supports Ultrium 7 and Ultrium 8 tape cartridge. This drive optimizes the performance by matching host system speed to keep drives streaming, enabling a faster tape performance. The drive with encryption feature, provides high level security. It includes 1 x mini SAS cable.
