Energy Saver
The HSM Securio cross-cut shredder uses an Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) to control its energy consumption. The machine switches into energy-saver mode after 2 minutes of rest, and it turns off completely after four hours of non-use. It also has a permanent mode for large shredding jobs. The EMCS system can reduce energy consumption up to 90 percent. Easy to Use
You can change between shredding modes with the flip of switch. A reverse setting helps alleviate paper jams. The HSM Securio cross-cut shredder will automatically turn off when the door is open, and it comes with a removable 7. 8-gallon wastebasket. Powerful but Quiet
