The surface features an attractive diamond design and is made from PET polyester, an eco-friendly fiber made from recycled plastic bottles. CleanShield mats can be left in place during daily floor cleaning; floor scrubbers, mops, and brooms will pass right over them without causing damage. Each mat features and easy-to-read 30-day TimeStrip that indicates when it's time to change the mat. CleanShield mats are made in the USA and certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI).
