The integrity of the Staples 400-sheets D-ring binder is largely due to the rubber edges and spine that give it flexibility. When the binder experiences heavy pressure, instead of the cover creasing and becoming crushed, it flexes. Not only does this protect the documents, but it prevents ring misalignment.
