DO NOT waste your time
I love Quill! They are so fast and usually sell quality. NOTE that although these fit a hanging file folder, you CAN"T fit a hanging file folder that is tabbed. PLUS they do NOT give you the "inner" measurements, meaning that they do NOT account for the lid and the space it takes up on the inside. Without a doubt, the handle will break very soon.

Latch is hard to lock.
It takes me several tries to get them to latch and stay latched. I would not order again.

Measurements are OUTSIDE demensions!
I ordered a case simular to this size a couple years ago, & found the dimensions given in ad description are the outside not the inside size.
Bought these 2 (forgetting that fact) are 2 small for A 3-Ring binder 4"inch wide to fit.

Its a great box filer, ive never seen one like this. however it could use stronger hinges, also it comes without folders and hanging folders which i thought came included.

Only good for very light loads
We ordered this to carry files in, as stated in the title - Portable File Storage Box. The handle broke on the first day. Don't put much in it, and it'll probably be great, but for actually transporting files - not so much.

What I expected
I am satisfied with the file storage box. It fills the purpose that I bought it for and it is strong and durable. It is also the right size for storing it out of the way.

The item listed online and what i received are not the same.
I called Staples upon my receipt of the storage box and noted it was not the size I ordered.
The SKU# was correct and model number as well.
So Staples sent a replacement, which I received the next day, great!!, Right, NO!
They sent the exact same item I received the first day. Really?

It's handy and workable, but the hole for a lock is very small and the inner size width isn't large enough for 14" envelopes.

Sturdy Storage Box
This was a replacement box we use as an outside drop-off box at work for after-hours file deliveries. My only complaint is that it is a little tricky opening the box because of how the latch is configured right next to the see-through storage area on the very top. Poor Quality
This file box was extremely poor quality. The latch broke the first time the box was used. Popped right off with no way to fix it.
