Works well if you install it correctly.
The privacy filter has both a glare and non-glare slide, so if you want a "non-glare" you have to look before you install it that the non-glare side is facing out (towards you).
You should clean the screen that is going to be mounted to, don't want to tap any dust in between the two layers and also the adhesive strips will hold better. I have found that the double side...

I love them!
Our office bought some of these privacy screen for the admins. I love them. Personally I have sensitivity to light, and these screens help with the light of the monitors.
I think the screens protect if someone is trying to look from the side. not so much for the back.

no privacy, but easier on eyes
This privacy screen has made looking at my monitor easier on the eyes. However, I purchased this to have screen privacy in a shared office, and this hasn't really done that. You have to be on the very side of the screen for the 'privacy' aspect to work, which sort of defeats the purpose since, based on the angle, they basically wouldn't be able to see my screen at that ...
