Staples HL8000 Commercial Lateral File Cabinet
I purchased 2 file cabinets, a 42" wide and a 36" wide and we love them. Pull out shelf for when you are standing reviewing a file, shelf on top for binders and books, it's exactly what we needed.

Very misleading photo
The photo clearly shows a pull out shelf. It was a very important feature in our selection process. It was not apart of the file cabinet that we were shipped. Very misleading. bait and switch!

Awesome customer service
The cabinet itself is awesome. However what I really love and appreciate is that this cabinet came as a replacement to the original I purchased that had a drawer come off it track. They not only replaced the cabinet they allowed me to keep the one I have free of charge. The only thing I wish was that they brought the cabinet inside as it is pretty heavy other than that ...

Horrible cheaply made, lock bent delivery annoying
There are STILL grease marks on the side of the item. The lock is BENT and I struggle with locking it, took pictures on day it was delivered. Had to reschedule delivery twice. When I did get it to lock it only locks one side and the other side can be opened.

Great product!
This cabinet was about half the cost of a HON cabinet, but it is far from being cheaply made. This cabinet is a beast. If you are looking for a lateral cabinet, I would recommend this brand over HON. I don't recommend spending the ridiculous set up fee that Staples charges. It is not worth it at all.
