This is the closest I have found as a replacement for the old Pilot G1 pens that they don't appear to make or sell in U.S. anymore.

Great Pens

Pilot Neo-Gel Stick Gel Pen
These pens are wonderful to write with. The only draw back is that I wish they had a rubber strip for your fingers to grab it better.
