Lights up a large space
I have a lot of good things to say about this lamp. It was very easy to assemble (the pieces all screw together effectively. The base is heavy which secures the lamp when standing. The shade swivels up or down so you can direct the light on the desk area or toward the ceiling to spread out the light. With a bright light bulb it lights up a large amount of space. The sh...

The construction of this is very cheap... The post screws together but the parts seem to be stripped. so the post is not straight and wobbles in the base. Never will I buy a light from staples again!

I would not recommend this product
This lamp is very basic purchased for my office at work. The lamp has a "cheap" look to it with a plastic shade that I suppose was designed for easy cleaning. The biggest negative about this lamp is that the shade does not swivel 360 degrees so when you face the lamp toward you the cord at the bottom of the base comes out in FRONT of the lamp and looks ridiculous.
