Did not receive it
I ordered this and did not receive via email nothing in my spam etc. I opened a ticket on this and was referred to a 3rd party for resolution. 3rd party told me only Staples can open a complaint with them. Getting the runaround and out 100 dollars. Do not buy gift cards from Staples. This is my first and last time.

Delivery in an hour
As a more recent datapoint I order the egift card at 8:58pm on a Friday night. The email confirmation said the egift card would be delivered in “less than one business day” so I was afraid that meant Monday. Fortunately the eGC arrived in my inbox an hour later!

E-gift card cancelled
I tried to order the e-gift card on 2 separate occasions as there were no physical gift cards in their store and order was cancelled by staples both times without representative able to help push order through within the company system.

Takes way longer than any other site
I’ve gotten email gift cards before and staples has to be the only website that takes forever. If you’re trying to buy a late notice gift do it on amazon

If you want to spend lots of time of time contacting customer service then order away!
Placed an order on October 18 and two weeks later I still haven't received my gift card. Contacted customer service twice and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours; hopefully this second time I will hear from someone since nothing happened the first time. I have ordered gift cards twice from Staples now and had issues both times. Really who has time for this?

We're very sorry that the gift card arrived later than expected. All orders are processed pending authorization and availability and the gift cards being delivered via email typically arrive within 24 hours. Lets be real most people use their gift cards online now a days so we just toss that plastic card. This is easier and doesn't waste plastic!
