Canon CLI-42 - barely any ink
I purchased this for my Canon printer to print shipping labels. I have only printed about 10 labels and I need to replace the cartridge already. This is supposed to be a photo printer. I would get 1 photo printed at this rate.

The only way to go...
Don't go over to the dark side and buy the cheap inks...a BIG mistake! Stick with what works; inks that were made for the Pixma Pro 100!

excellent product
I print black and white photography and ordered this ink fro my Canon Pixma pro-100. For me there is a significant difference between this ink and the standard black ink for the pro-100. Staples delivered ahead of scheduled which was fantastic.

Great ink makes great photos
Name brand ink in my Canon Pro100 printer looks great in these photographs. I think the separate grays add depth to the quality of the colors.

Canon Black Ink Cartridges
It is nice that Canon offers this black ink cartridge set when printing black and white photographs on my Canon Pro-100 printer. These cartridges last a good amount of time and I have never had any problems with my printer using the genuine Canon inks.
Staples offers a great price on these cartridges and if you find them cheaper any where else they will match the pric...

I love my Canon Pixma Pro 100 and the ink that supports it. The packaging of the black inks is very handy since I use a lot of black. Helpful for b&w prints.
