I am very pleased with my new VTech 4-Line Small Business Phone with answering system. This phone replaced a phone system I had for 20 years. So far the phone is doing everything I need it to do. The cordless phone has to be better than the console. It is a very poor
telephone with many, many problems. I intend to replace it since the is no support for its use. My purchase of it was a mistake.

problems
each phone has to be cleared out of missed calls..cannot do with main console. Some celluar company phone customers cannot reach us thru main line.Phones go on hold for no reason.

Good but missing some features
Wanted to switch to a 2 desk phone system from a single phone. So far so good.
Only been using phone system for about a month. Has a lot of capabilities. We have a voicemail through phone company, sometimes the general mailbox on the phone picks up the call. Haven't figured this out yet. Other than that, it's great to be able to connect 3 other phones wirelessly. Cut down on cost of updating other offices in building with 4 line capability. That's...

A couple of things that I didn't like.
1: It doesn't come with back up batteries.
2: If you move from one line to the next without pushing down the switch hook it automatically puts the line you were using on hold. This is very frustrating to a lot of users if they just want to move to another line after completing a call to make another one. Talked to VTech support and...

Stopped Working in 2 Months
Within 2 months line 1 began delaying in the connecting of incoming calls. When it would roll over to line 2, it squeals in your ear like a fax machine trying to connect. Stales does not handle manufacture warranties and Vtech wants you to send them the defective phone then they will issue a new one warranty, BUT THIS IS A BUSINESS PHONE, which means we have to purcha...

Not easily compatible
We purchased this because we wanted to be able answer multiple lines at the same time. We had other V tech phones and headsets but they were not compatible with this system. It was going to be an extra $100 per headset to get this up and running. We ended up returning the system.
