db8e and clear stream 5 combined
Seems to work. Combined with db8e in attic. Still have things to figure out. Possible Interference and long run.

Much Improved VHF reception.
Sorry I could not answer earlier. My son just installed this new antenna on my roof this morning and now I am getting all the VHF channels I was missing before and also all the UHF channels that I have always been getting.

Perfect Replacement
Perfect!! Replaced an older Antennas Direct antenna with this one. Easy replacement since I already had the roof mount in place. Aimed the CS5 toward Atlanta, secured the setting, scanned the channels and done! Works Great!!

Great antenna for picking up hi-VHF channels
Purchased this antenna for specifically tuning in a difficult hi-vhf signal in the Chicagoland area. Antenna was installed in the attic 32 miles from the tower. Reception is outstanding and i would highly recommend this antenna.

This antenna works in my attic 35 miles for VHF!
Was looking to get 3 VHF channels 35 miles from towers. Also wanted to position the antenna in attic if possible. After several location attempts in my attic got the channels I was missing. Best part - clearer than cable companies.

Greetings from Antennas Direct! The ClearStream 5 is not a Low-VHF antenna, it will recieve long range Hi-VHF and short range (about 35 miles) on UHF.

Improved VHF Reception

ClearStream 5 VHF Antenna (Attic) installation
Due to the rising costs of cable, my son and I recently installed a ClearStream 5 antenna with a VHF/UHF combiner in our attic. The installation was quite easy and the reception we have is great. I would recommend ClearStream products if your thinking of going to an antenna.

Not happy
I'm only 45 miles or so from broadcast towers and no foliage as yet and can only pickup 1 of my local network channels. I can pick up stations I'm not real interested
in, like cooking and gardening. The unit is higher then the peak of my roof and is attached to amplifier. I can only bring in 1 VHF station.

Works Well for VHF Reception
I am over 40 miles east of all of the VHF transmitters and this antenna picks them up well. It also picks up some UHF channels. Great Antenna and Customer Support
The instructions made the assembly of this antenna very easy. Antenna Direct Technical Support provided the best location to install and position the antenna. Also, they provided a list of stations within a 70 mile radius which we receive with good reception. I installed new cable to eliminate any possible static along with an amplifier "The Juice" with this antenna....

Not good enough for location
Easy to install worked well, got many more stations but not the ones we wanted, not a fault of antenna just our location, trees, hills, building and weather issues.

Almost Well Constructed
I gave this antenna 4 Stars only because 4 more little clips on the back of the antenna where it attaches to the Screen (2 each along the vertical axis) would have made this a well constructed antenna suitable for outside mounting.

Good VHF reception
I was able to get the good reception with antenna installed in attic, I previously used a cheap antenna but one VHF station may be 30 miles away was the issue, but not any more with this antenna. Good sturdy build.

Got every channel I wanted
I installed this in my attic, I'll estimate 22' above the foundation. Distance to tower estimate is about 40 miles. Our roof has the foil-lined radiation reflective wood and we still got all the channels that indicated strong strength (green) on the web. Also used a signal amplifier. One thing: aiming in the precise direction of the tower made the difference for one...

Best compact & long range antenna
Bought this antenna per support person Randy.
Randy was very courteous and helpful. Antenna arrived pretty much assembled, installation was an easy task, scanned the channels and found 164 channels. Best HD quality on Lucan channels.
