Reliable and top tier go bag for Macbooks.
Work had bought me a bag like this that I used (and traveled with on occasion) for 5 years.
When I found a new job I knew I wanted one for my own personal use eventually. Quality is just as good, and I expect it to last at least as long as the first (which still had years left).
Highly recommended, especially for larger MacBooks.

new pocket lay out is a huge fail.
bought this to replace a same model bag that I have had and used extensively since 2017. looks the same but the small front pocket on the large flap has been redesigned to make it smaller, making the bag useless for my travel purposes.
I used to keep a credit card holder and passport in the pocket. credit card holder is to large and no chance of ever fitting a passport ...

Best backpack I've ever owned, by a long shot. I don't get some of the complaints on here. Seem pretty petty. "Too stiff?" It's a laptop backpack, it's supposed to be stiff. "Straps too short?" What are you, the Hulk? These straps will easily fit around a telephone pole. "Doesn't fit my stuff?" Seriously dude? Why did you buy the bag if it doesn't fit whatever...

Short straps
Great bag, wish the straps were a little longer like on older models. Tight fit with hoodie and motorcycle jacket on and my lunchbox inside. That would be my one suggestion length in the shoulder straps by at least an inch if not more other than that same capacity and great quality as my other OGIO’s.

Forever Backpack- No BS for sure!
No packpage comes ANYWHERE close. Period, Fullstop. It is the last backpack you will ever buy. I had the Renegade Pro for 6 years of daily travel, gave it to my son-in-law, and got this one. I can’t imagine what you would have to do to damage this thing. It is ungodly expensive, but like my Briggs and Riley luggage, this is indestructible. Unfortunately, we don’t normal...

does not stand on its own
the bag's decently made. i wish all the side pockets were big enough to hold a laptop charger.
my biggest complaint is how easily this bag will fall forward. it's infuriating it pull my bag out of the floorboard every time i brake. it's embarrassing to sit my bag on a chair in class and the teacher thinks i fell asleep because my bag fell out of the chair.

Great Pockets!
I bought this backpack a little over a year ago. It has great pockets and lots of room. I have made little modifications of my own to carry tools in it by adding an insert with sleeves for my hand tools. I am on the go a lot and use this backpack daily. I have packed it to the hilt, and it carries the weight. But like many others i am seeing fraying in the straps and no...

Nice, but not for business trips
Bought the Renegade RSS Laptop Backpack during the Black Friday of 2025, but used it for the first time in a business trip this January. It doesn't work for my use. Good things: Excellent finishing and sturdy zippers. But I will list the cons: - Feel like carrying a potato bag on my bag. Too many small pockets, but none big enough for my use. Not even a pocket big enoug...

Organization is superb
About a month in and I use it heavily while performing my law enforcement investigator duties. Organization quality is superb! I now know where everything is and it’s easy to access.

3rd Ogio backpack! Always Happy.
bought a month ago and couldn't be happier. This is the 3rd Ogio bag in our household, the others are over 3 years old and have been used for school and travel. All the bags have held up well with no ripping/tearing and all the seams are intact. Love the new Renegade bag and all its storage. Especially the pocket water bottle holder, and the hard-shell sunglass case...

Best Backpack Ever - Survived a Motorcycle Crash
I bought this backpack about 8 years ago. Still works like the day I got it, after surviving a motorcycle accident with it on, the bag was fine and my work laptop inside was unscathed even though I rolled several times at highway speed. Use it everyday for work and bought a 2nd to use for vacation and trips.

I really wanted to like it, but couldn't!
I really wanted to like this backpack, but the carry straps are too short. I'm 6'0" and 210lbs, so I'm not overly big. I had the straps extended all the way out and the shoulder strap uncomfortably cut into my shoulder. The make and finish of the backpack was great, but I just couldn't deal with the fit. My High Sierra was way more comfortable.

Each version gets smaller and cheaper.
I bought this a few weeks ago. This is my third one. I have to say the first one I bought was the best. Each one has been lower quality than the previous and the size of areas shrinks. The first one I bought I traveled almost weekly for more than 4 years and I handed it down to my son. He still has it three years later and it is in decent shape. The one I bought t...

Luggage pass through and shoulder straps need help
Quality is good. Design on two areas is a problem. #1 - with a laptop in the laptop compartment, it is impossible to get the backpack to slide over my suitcase handle using the luggage handle pass through. Without a laptop in the compartment it will fit over the handle. #2 - the shoulder straps are not long enough for an adult. I am average size and can barely get ...

My favorite backpack that keeps getting stronger!
This is my third Renegade RSS in 7 years and I love it even more! I use mine daily in car manufacturing plants and traveling all over the world. It is seriously the best backpack for someone that travels and uses multiple laptops.

Meh. No water place for a water bottle
Plenty of pockets, but the glaring issue is the fact there is no place for a water bottle. If this is considered a travel bag-shouldn’t that be a priority?
