Not Wide Enough for Sheet Protectors or Dividers
This 5" Better Binder has a major design flaw that is not disclosed on the online listing and is not visible in the photos. The back of the binder is too narrow to cover a letter-sized 8.5x11 sheet protector. Just a 3-hole-punched paper fits but sheet protectors won't--they stick out from the fore-edge unprotected. not better
when trying to flip the pages back in forth in the binder the rings pop open and then you spend the next 20 minutes trying to re-thread the pages onto the rings

Staples 5" Binder
I originally ordered the Avery 5" binder. What a difference between the Staples and Avery. The Avery would not close properly and the rings would not allow for smooth transition of paper from one side the other. The Staples brand is perfect - very smooth operation without frustration. I LOVE THIS BINDER.

The binder is large enough but clips don't lock tight enough. When flipping through the binder can open and pages come loose.

Perfect for my documents (work)
Well-built and can hold a great deal of documents. This will hold the entire year of weekly reports for all departments at the factory I work at. Strong construction guarantees that the documents will remain in the binder even being handed around for audits and periodic reviews. Will definitely keep these binders in my "list" to re-order as needed.
